The Details: this new program warrants replacement parts (excluding certain accessories and wear & tear items) installed at an authorized Volvo dealer will be free from defects in material or workmanship, exclusive of any outside factors like damage caused after production and shipment. Coverage under this new program includes labor for part replacement.
Repairs after June 8th, 2015 which involve replacement of parts with genuine Volvo replacement parts will be covered by the Volvo Limited Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty. Be advised, parts sold over the counter and specifically not installed by an authorized Volvo dealer are covered by Volvo's one year parts only warranty. They do not benefit from the new program.
